We have founded an orphanage in Tarsikka (Kashmir, Pakistan – show in Google Maps) to provide a home, food and education for children who would otherwise have to live on the streets.
But on September 6, 2025, we were hit by a major flood disaster.
Our orphanage and the adjoining school building were completely destroyed. Many children were injured and five lost their lives.
In the following picture gallery you can see the extent of the flood disaster – and what your help is needed for. Any support helps to restore safety, education and dignity to the surviving children.💙

The orphanage before the flood

Learning
Here, the children enjoyed learning to read, write and dream – in simple but loving classrooms.

Entrance area
The entrance to our school – a symbol of education and cohesion. Today, this space is empty, but with your help, life can soon return here.

Everyday school life
Hard-working pupils, committed teachers – the future was shaped here every day. The flood destroyed many things, but not their will to learn.
