Yesterday, three of our children were finally allowed to leave the hospital.
After weeks of worry, treatment and waiting, they have now returned to our temporary home in Lahore – a small rented apartment that is currently serving as a replacement for the destroyed orphanage. The joy was huge when the other children were able to embrace her.
We laughed together, ate together and simply shared closeness again – something that has often been missing in recent weeks, but our work is not over yet: six children are still in hospital and are receiving medical care there.
We hope that they too will soon recover and be able to return to their little family in the home, and that your support will make all this possible.
